These palaces and forts are not only architecture marvels but tell stories of a glorious past which often attracts filmmakers.

Apart from the architectural marvel, it is also rich in natural beauty. With abundant lakes such as the Pichola Lake, Badi Lake, Fatehsagar Lake and beautifully maintained gardens such as Saheliyon ki Badi, Nehru Park and Moti Magri there are ample location for filmmakers to choose from.

The vibrant culture of Udaipur with its colorful markets and old city homes are also an ideal location for filmmakers who want to shoot in original settings. Udaipur has a lot to offer to for any genre of films whether it is period or historical dramas, commercial films or art films.
